Just finished another 24-hour guard duty this morning, completed one the day before and gonna do another one tomorrow morning.

Three more days to the Trip to Kota Kinabalu and ten days to home leave, how I hope time flies faster in camp. Hope my flight is in the morning, I'm dying to go back to do so many things already.

My dear friends, wait for me, I'm coming back soon, let's gather...

Before June ends, there came the last frame for our service and support camp. But the number of training troopers didn't come small, but arrived at a bigger number that I never imagined before. Make a guess how big the number was. It was less than 300.

But before that, I went for a 3-Day block off, staying out and away from the camp. What did I do? Watched a movie, went to a cafeteria to surf internet and play games then return to another camp to stay for two nights. After that, I returned to camp to continue my work.

The last frame ended three days ago, and I just got back from a mountain climbing. At least I got a certificate in return and a lot of photos that I took during the expedition. I will upload the photos soon.

Very looking forward to my home leave at the end of this month, but might leave camp a day earlier to catch the flight. Feel like seeing my friends and doing lots of things when I return already.

I have been so fucking tired recently, setting up and closing down of Mars Station, loading and unloading stores for my friends. Hope someone can just keep me company with.

I want to do a Commando Frame during September, hope can come true.

Blogging so early in the morning? Actually I'm inside the office standing in for my friend now cause' he has to go back to rest, while the counterpart of his went for guard. Anyway, I will be inside until 10am, while waiting for my friends to come back to take over.

Two months have passed since I arrived in LC. No doubt, I will be inside the office during mid of June to understudy them.

I will be coming home soon, I shall get my hands on that gaming laptop first. I want to do a lot of things when I get back home.

Whenever I asked some special friends to come out for a meal, I always have a feeling of getting rejected. Why is that so?

8:06 AM

Hello guys, sorry for not updating my blog because I have been going out field for donkey days already.

Two of my friends left my camp for home last week, three will be going off for home next week. Hope that home leave comes faster, I missed home and my friends so much.

I feel that it wasn't so bad after receiving my new appointment, although there's lots of labour to be done like loading and unloading my stores, building and tearing down my outfield station. It's not as bad as I think now, except for the traffic jam on the radio.

There's so much things to do, and many places to go when home leave comes. Faster come!

Gonna go outfield tomorrow morning, then return to camp on Thursday night to rest.

I have a phobia, a phobia which I have to overcome, is the batteries. I have this feeling that I will get electrocuted by the sparks if I'm not careful enough. In addition, I'm not fast enough to remember all the stuff that I have to be equipped with for my new appointment.

1.5 months in Brunei already, finally getting use to the way of life, but not my new appointment yet.

I still miss everyone, when can I get to see them or meet up with them again?

FRIDAY, 15th MAY, 2009

12:40 PM

It's Friday today and supposed to be my book-out day back in one of the camps, if I didn't go to Brunei. It's also day where I can either hang out with my friends or just go home straight.

1.5 months in Brunei and counting down to home leave, might be earlier or later. The question is, are we returning in December or March?

Saw MO last night to get some prescriptions for my coughing. I have been coughing for a few days already, it even happened when I'm sleeping or resting. The coughing is also very bad sometimes.

Next week going for a four-day outfield, understudy my senior's appointment. After that, I shall take over whatever's left by my senior. It will be a very big challenge for me.

I found one of my primary school classmates, 11 years ago, on the Facebook. She still remembered me, thanked God. I'm gonna meet up with her when I go back to Singapore.

I have been living in Brunei since a month and more days have passed and the end of my first training frame conducted by my team. I'm starting to get used to the life down here, more guards and more night station duties. Worst is that I woke up every two hours hearing the guards reaching each checkpoints radioing back and forth for time stamping.

I realised I have a phobia when relaying comms. It's either I'm too slow to catch them what my friends are trying to say or can't remember what they wanted me to relay for them.

Currently, there's this swine flu thing going on back in Singapore and around the world, it has killed and infected people already. The troopers might even delay their training due to it.

Since it's low-key, I have more time to sleep in bunk while even more time to learn more things and get hands-on, as well as going to the gym to train myself for the upcoming IPPT. Better to clear it to up-rank myself and get the bonus ASAP.

I missed a lot of people, my family, my friends, the closest and the long-time never see each other ones. Swear that I will meet up with them once I return to Singapore for home leave.

Holding on to a new appointment once the next training frame starts and I will be holding on to it for long, probably best till home leave comes.

I have been very busy this month, since my team is currently conducting a course for the infantry cadets, and manning communications for them as well.

I missed Singapore a lot, my house, the TV, family, friends and many more. There's more to come for me in camp though.

10:00 PM

Finally reached Brunei in one piece, but that was 10 days ago. Life's still a hectic, busy running around the camps, drawing and returning stuff, doing office work until midnight.

Luckily there's internet available in the camp. Alternatively, I can use my handphone to connect to the internet but the usage will be deducted through my sim card, which means, I have to top up my sim card often in order to use inside the bunk.

I'm still adapting to the life in Brunei, my friends are also coming this month. Time to stay there for a year...
